Bushfire Management Plans

While there are elements of a bushfire that you can't control, having the right preparation can make all the difference.

Required to accompany strategic planning proposals, subdivisions and development applications, a Bushfire Management Plan (BMP) sets out how bushfire risk is managed, it outlines the short, medium and long-term risk management strategies for the entirety of a development.

Used to support planning proposals and development applications in bushfire prone areas it demonstrates how the development will comply with the criteria outlined in State Planning Police 3.7 and the Guidelines for Planning in Bushfire Prone Areas.

Our integrated approach ensures your Bushfire Risk Management Plan will be tailored to your needs, effectively achieving a practical balance between bushfire risk, environmental considerations and the development.
